Mom Jeans

Happy Saturday everyone and more importantly happy Mother's Day weekend to all the mamas out there! Hope you are getting showered with love and enjoying fun times with those you love! Cheers to the toughest and most rewarding job there is!

This look is all about these Madewell "Perfect Summer Jeans" that also happen to be "mom jeans", ironic right!? I never thought I would give mom jeans another try but here I am and loving them! They are seriously the most comfortable, flattering easy going jean I've ever tried. They are going to be on heavy rotation this Spring and Summer! So give mom jeans another try, specifically these Madewell Summer jeans because they'll surprise you, promise! (I sized down btw)

Lucy's Tip: They key to wearing mom jeans is to get the proportions right. Wear them with a tucked in blouse or tank like I've done here to highlight the waist. Be sure to wear them with a slim shoe weather is be a heel/sandal or a flat shoe make sure it's not too bulky or chunky because that will add weight in the wrong place.
